I put a couple hundred board feet through this thing and it made rough walnut plank into some beautiful boards. Worked out of the box with no adjustments necessary. A shop vac is a must have accessory. No hick-ups once I did the initial depth adjustment. The measurements on side gauge are very true to the 1/32.

I’ve had the DeWalt DW735 recommended to me so many times that I’ve lost count. Initially I was going to go with a more modest choice because I have a number of projects that I need to get done and I didn’t want to wait a few more months too get started while my budget caught up with my needs. After talking with several friends who have the 735, however, I was talked into holding out. It was the right choice… this is a beast in a box! I’ve been beating on it relentlessly since it was delivered without to much as a hiccup. I’ll definitely be getting a helical blade and height caliper to round out the package, but those are just workflow upgrades. I recommend the 735 without hesitation.
