Questions & Answers
Question: Is dw9099 same as dc9096
Answer: 9096 is the newer version of the 9099. dc9096 is a 1/2 lighter, and almost a 1/2 lower profile. They are interchangeable.
Ken –
I personally prefer these batteries batteries for my older Dewalt tools rather than the lithium batteries with the adapters. In my opinion, they last longer than the smaller lithium batteries and they fit better, making them easier to remove. For the type of home improvement projects and repairs that I do, these batteries are more than strong enough and last long enough. I would recommend buying these batteries if you have the older Dewalt power tools.
