Questions & Answers
Question: How do you put the blade on?
Answer: The allen wrench is provided in the handle near the battery on the right hand side. Push in the blade lock button at the top of the blade guard to stop the motion. Loosen the bolt with the allen wrench until the clamp is removed. (The bolt is reverse threaded, so it is clockwise to loosen, counterclockwise to tighten, the opposite of most bolts.) Place the blade between the inner and outer washer guards. Pull back the blade guard to insert the blade into place. Use the allen wrench to tighten the bolt into place (using the blade lock button to stop the blade motion).
Make sure the blade is securely in place before using.

This is the finest circular saw I have owned and I have owned many. I have waited for some time for a full sized, full featured right-blade 7-1/4″ sidewinder. I am a fully seasoned former carpenter and I have always personally preferred B&D Sawcats, the very similar DeWalt models, Makitas and the better grade Skils. I have other cordless saws in various sizes which with the exception of a small 12v Makita are all left-blade saws. I consider them preferable only for cutting sheetgoods. I have 2 Skil wormdrives which I have used a bit when framing using West Coast methods. Most of my work was done with East Coast methods and therefore using right-blade sidewinders such as this. This saw has the fastest rotational speed I have used and that is perfect with modern thin kerf blades. This saw arrived perfectly aligned and adjusted. I particularly like the instantaneous blade brake, the led light which illuminates the line of cut exceedingly well, the balance and, of course, the lack of a cord. I remember many hours of frustration fighting cords in my time. I remember several near accidents using old saws without brakes. I would have loved to have had such a saw as this 15 to 50 years ago. One note; The pictured saw shows no rafter hook. The one I received has an excellent flip-out rafter hook. Icing on the cake! ……What a terrific saw!

I have framed my whole basement and garage with this saw and dewalt driver / hammer drill combo. It is the perfect saw for me. It cuts fast, lasts surprisingly very long even on the 2amp battery. The best feature is the way they designed the bottom plate you can see EXACTLY where your blade is cutting. I make perfect cuts with this every time. It is also pretty quiet compared to a plug in saw. I cut 2×4 all night in the basement while people slept upstairs. This is the only saw I will ever need for house projects.

This is the best circular saw I have owned. It has as much power as any corded saw I have used. I have only used it on one project so far, but it exceeded my expectations. This will make my corded saw feel like my corded drill….unused. The light could be better placed to see the cut, but my corded saw doesn’t have a light at all, The belt clip is handy.
